He is a Japanese rapper who is a member of the boy group TREASURE from YG Entertainment. He started his career at the age of 14 years. Because Japan is where he comes from, at a relatively young age he had to leave his family for a career, his courage and ambition is really cool. He is known to have high self-confidence. Besides that, he also has many talents such as composing songs, being able to pop dance, and others. He is not afraid to try new things. I learned a lot from him, such as not giving up easily and always being enthusiastic.

Yedam underwent a trainee for 7 years at YG Entertainment before finally debuting with TREASURE. During his 7 years of training, his singing skills improved and he became good at dancing, rapping, and producing songs. In 2019, he was announced as a member of the debut group TREASURE after competing in the YG TREASURE BOX event. Treasure made their official debut with the lead single "Boy" from the singles album, The First Step: Chapter One on August 7 in 2019. When he was 10 years old, he started entering SBS K-pop Star Season 2 and received praise from BoA, as a judge, for his voice which was compared to Michael Jackson. Park Jinyoung praised him for his singing rhythm and Yang Hyunsuk was amazed at his voice's ability to reach the souls of the audience. In the end, he ranked second after the brother duo Akdong Musician (AKMU). Sadly on November 8 2022, YG entertainment announced the departure of Mashiho and Yedam from TREASURE, YG said Bang Ye Dam left the group because he wanted to focus on being a producer.
