Turbud’s Core Memory

     On May 5 2024, the students of SMAN 3 Bandung started our “Tour Budaya” and will go to Bali. We left at 4 am, using the train. After that, we stopped at Surabaya station and continued our journey by bus. Then we cross at Ketapang port to Gilimanuk port using a ferry. A very enjoyable experience because i can try various types of transportation.

     Arriving in Bali, our first destination is Tanah Lot! There are two temples located on large rocks. One is located on a boulder and the other is located on a cliff. I was amazed by the beauty of the scenery there. After that, we headed to the hotel to rest. Then, we went to Jimbaran for the opening ceremony. There, we ate seafood with a view of the beach at night. What a perfect combination! <3

    The next day, we went to Tanjung Benoa. Tanjung Benoa is a water sports area in Nusa Dua, Bali. I visited Turtle Island and saw various types of animals. Next we went to Devdanshow. Ae watched dance performances from all the islands in Indonesia. Devdanshow will always be my favorite ♥️. After watching it, I got a lot of new knowledge about culture in Indonesia. Next we went to Uluwatu, then to GWK to watch the Kecak dance, and to Krisna to buy souvenirs. A very busy but exciting schedule!

    The fourth day, we went to Desa Penglipuran. Penglipuran village is one of nine traditional villages in Bali. Penglipuran Village is the third cleanest village in the world according to the Green Destinations Foundation. Next we went to Kintamani for lunch with a beautiful view. After that, we continued to carry out the "Makrab" event in DeJukung. Until finally on May 9 2024, we went home by plane and arrived at school at 9 pm.

    The end of this trip, I gained a lot of new knowledge about Indonesian culture, especially Bali. I also got new experiences visiting beautiful places in Bali of course with my friends. Another core memory is unlocked, I will remember all the things in Bali with 3'2025 ♡ ⭐️💌.
